Ubuntu / Debian / Centos Usermin differences

Just FYI

  • I have the Virtual Framed and Mobile themes on Centos 6
  • Virtual Mobile is missing on Debian 7
  • Both are missing on Ubuntu 14 (defaults to the ugly Old Usermin them)

Is that a bug?

Did you install using the Virtualmin install script on all systems? It should setup the theme as part of the install process.

Yes, fresh install with install.sh.

On the Ubuntu 14 system, what happens if you run apt-get install usermin-virtual-server-theme ?

Oh, now you say that, I can see that with my Ubuntu I didn't even check usermin because it was super ugly, but with debian it's much better.

apt-get installed the theme correctly (and apt-get install usermin-virtual-mobile worked as well )

Interesting .. I wonder why it didn't get installed by the install.sh script.

Did you happen to capture the output of that script to see if there were any errors about this package?

There are no errors, it seems like the necessary extra packages were not attempted to install. Is that a package dependency issue?

PS

Looking at the log I was reminded again about the incorrect sizes of the "theme packages". (I will reopen that old issue again:-) )
