Virtualmin Filemanager bugreport / feature request

Hello,

First, thank you very much for this new html5 file manager feature! It's great, as great as this new virtualmin php-fpm feature!

Second, there are several bug reports / feature requests that imho are necessary to make this new file manager fully functional!

BUG: 1- unzipping isnt working (unzip package is installed, tested on Cent OS7 and 6 with the latest version of zipped wordpress package)

FEATURE REQUESTS:

2- Why action column is hidden by default?! renaming, unzipping, ... these things are the default things that users use this file manager for! and it's best to have this enabled by default

3- a very very simple online editor is really needed! to just be able to edit files online and save them

4- It would be great for this File manager to be accessible from {Virtual server}->Administrative Option->File manager rather than {Virtual server}->Administrative Option->Switch to server's admin-> a new window appears and root logs out!!->Webmin modules->File manager, and it would be supposed that this new shortcut keeps file group/owners correct (i.e. the file manager runs under each virtualmin user/ group via sudo or su - u ...)

5- You can place Icons directly on the page rather than categorizing them (File, Edit, Tools, Permissions, ...) which would be much more convenient.

THANK YOU

For 3, there is a text editor built in. Just right click on the file you want to edit and click "Edit". It'll open a nice text editor with syntax highlighting.

There's a video about the File Manager here (though it sounds like you've figured out most of the functionality already):

I like the idea of making it accessible under each virtual server, even when logged in as root. I'm not sure how it'd be restricted to the users permissions when called that way, though, as it's pretty closely tied to the logged in user. Normally, the root user has access to everything...but, maybe Jamie has an idea on how that'd be possible.

I installed a new virtualmin server today and noticed that the Filemanager is no longer accessible for non-root users. Is it from the new virtualmin release 5.0.6-2?
